We are currently looking for a Prep Cook to join the Tourkitchen team for the Brussels edition of Alegría, starting immediately.

Job Description:
As a Prep Cook, you will be part of a professional kitchen team where you will take on tasks independently and responsibly.

You will be responsible for preparing food for the Cirque du Soleil staff.
-
You will cook dishes in collaboration with the rest of the kitchen staff, ensuring variety and quality of the dishes.
-
You will follow instructions from Cirque’s head chef, take care of cleaning your kitchen area, and manage leftover food.

You will ensure high-quality and timely food preparation, complying with food safety, sanitary regulations, and HACCP standards.

You maintain a positive and professional approach to colleagues and customers.
Candidate Profile:
-
Experience as an assistant chef in restaurants or hotels.
-
Excellent understanding of different cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
-
Very accurate and efficient in performing assigned tasks.
-
Preferably a hotel school diploma or equivalent experience.
-
Good knowledge of English or French (knowledge of Dutch is not required).
-
Ability to do heavy lifting, stand up to 10 hours, and work in a noisy environment.

Comfortable working under non-permanent structures exposed to weather (kitchen in containers).
-
Preferably available throughout the event period: 25/09 – 09/11/2025.

Thorough knowledge of HACCP rules.
What Client Offers:

Salary according to barema PC302 – starting from €16.96 per hour.

Full-time work from 25 September to 9 November 2025.

Weekly salary payments via Manpower Interim.

Work in shifts with varying daily schedules — earliest start at 6 a.m., latest finish at 9 p.m.
