Our client is currently looking for a part-time Procurement Employee to support its procurement operations and supply chain activities.
Job Description:
Mission
The Procurement Officer plays a key role in implementing and supporting the company’s procurement strategy. The position ensures efficient procurement operations while securing supply, managing supplier relationships, and maintaining accurate purchasing data.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Administration

Manage contracts and purchase prices within the ERP system (SAP) and maintain accurate master data, including source lists, purchasing info records, and material master data.

Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders (Supply Chain, Accounting) to resolve invoice price discrepancies (VIM) and update purchase order prices when required.

Plan, schedule, and reschedule contract volumes in close collaboration with the Supply Chain team, suppliers, and Category Managers.

Monitor contract coverage for critical raw materials and proactively take corrective actions when needed.
Procurement Operations

Support the Planning team in supplier communications to ensure continuity and security of supply.

Provide regular forecasts to suppliers and relevant Category Managers.

Act as the Procurement representative in cross-functional projects involving R&D, Sales, Accounting, Production, and Quality teams.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing procurement processes.

Lead supplier evaluation activities to enhance supplier performance and service levels.

Candidate Profile:
Position Profile
-
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Professional Experience: 1–5 years of relevant experience in procurement or a similar function.

Languages: Fluent in English (mandatory). Knowledge of Dutch and/or French is a strong asset.

IT Skills: Good command of MS Office tools. Knowledge of SAP is considered a plus.
