We are recruiting a dynamic, empathetic, and highly organised Student Community Manager on behalf of our client located in Anderlecht. The successful candidate will lead the resident experience at a student accommodation property of nearly 300 rooms.
Job Description:
Community Building & Engagement

Build strong relationships with residents and foster a sense of belonging

Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive community atmosphere
Social Events & Programming

Design, plan, and deliver a range of events and activities that bring students together

Collaborate with student leaders and partners to enrich the social programme
Wellbeing
-
Support residents with empathy and provide guidance during challenging situations
-
Promote wellbeing initiatives and direct students to appropriate services
Resident Communication & Content Creation
-
Communicate with residents through digital channels, newsletters, and notices
-
Create engaging content to keep residents informed and involved
Feedback & Satisfaction

Gather resident feedback and work with the team to improve satisfaction levels
Community Standards & Behaviour Management
-
Promote respectful behaviour and address community issues when required
Move-In / Move-Out Support

Assist with resident check-ins and check-outs
-
Ensure smooth transitions and a high-quality arrival/departure experience
Student Leaders Programme

Support the recruitment, training, and coordination of student leaders
Reporting & Administration

Maintain accurate records, prepare reports, and support administrative tasks
Operational Support

Provide backup support to the Operations Manager as needed
Candidate Profile:
Essential
-
Experience in community management, events, hospitality, student services, or a related field

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities

Ability to engage with students from diverse backgrounds

Creative thinker with a proactive, problem-solving mindset

Ability to remain calm and supportive in sensitive or stressful situations

Strong digital communication skills (e.g., social media, online communities)

Previous experience in student accommodation or university settings

Background in events, hospitality, customer service, or wellbeing support
