Cirque du Soleil is coming to Knokke and looking for a Spot Technician to join the backstage crew of Alegría, one of the world’s most iconic live shows. If you’re passionate about lighting, live performance, and working behind the scenes, this is your moment to shine.
Job Description:
As a Follow Spot Technician, you’ll operate a follow spot during live performances, ensuring that performers remain in perfect light at key moments. Your focus, precision, and technical skills will play a key role in creating the signature magic of the Cirque du Soleil experience.
Your responsibilities include:

Operating a manual spotlight during live shows

Tracking moving performers with precision

Adjusting beam position, intensity, and color as directed

Collaborating closely with the lighting team
Candidate Profile:

Prior experience in lighting and/or audio technology

Strong sense of timing and visual focus

Flexible availability for rotating shifts (evenings, weekends, holidays)

Fluent in English – this is the working language on-site

Own transport required (no public transport to the site)
What Client Offers:
Location: Knokke, Belgium
Contract Period: June 24 – August 24, 2025
Schedule: 32 hours/week, variable (evenings, weekends, holidays)
Pay:

€26/hour (standard)
- €28/hour (Sundays)
- 200% pay on public holidays
