Cirque du Soleil’s world-renowned Alegría production is returning, and we are looking for a dedicated Wardrobe Attendant to join our dynamic team in Knokke.
Job Description:
Your Role:
As Wardrobe Attendant, you’ll report to the Head of Wardrobe and support the wardrobe assistants in ensuring the costumes are show-ready at all times. This hands-on role includes:

Preparing and presetting costumes and props backstage for each show

Running show cue tracks and assisting artists with dressing and quick changes

Performing daily maintenance: washing, steaming, ironing, and repairs

Handling alterations, emergency fixes, and craft work
-
Keeping wardrobe areas clean, organized, and secure

Working collaboratively under high-pressure, fast-paced show conditions

Wearing black attire (long sleeves, long pants, flat shoes) while on show track
Candidate Profile:
Who are you:
-
Minimum 3 years of experience as a professional seamstress
-
Skilled in costume repairs for large-scale productions
-
Proficient with domestic & industrial sewing machines and hand stitching

Bonus skills: shoe repair, millinery, makeup, hair styling, costume painting

Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently

Calm, clear communication in English under pressure
-
Physically fit with good eyesight; able to lift up to 15kg and stand for extended periods

Flexible with working hours (evenings and late nights required)

Reliable transportation to the worksite in Knokke - there is NO public transport
