For our client, a company specialized in pharmaceutical and vaccine research and development, we are recruiting a Market Operations Compliance & Control Analyst.
Job Description:
As part of the Treasury Back Office, you will play a key role in controlling market operations initiated by the Treasury Front Office / Capital Markets across all asset classes of the group.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Daily control of the completeness, compliance, and accuracy of treasury transactions (MMF, short-term deposits, certificates of deposit, repos, bonds, commercial papers, FX operations, swaps, NDFs, etc.) with both external and internal counterparts
- Verification of contractual reciprocity (ISDA, authorizations) and compliance with internal policies, while ensuring proper follow-up of financial settlements according to banking instructions and monthly closing deadlines
- Management of disputes with banking partners and preparation of monthly and ad hoc reporting on treasury activities
- Daily monitoring of exposures to counterparties and financial instruments, and control of defined limits
- Support in the setup and maintenance of counterparties in the treasury management system, including settlement instructions
- Contribution to internal and external audit processes
Candidate Profile:
Do you have the following knowledge and skills? Then you’re the person we’re looking for!
- You are bilingual in French and English, and speak another language? Perfect!
- University degree in finance, economics, or equivalent (minimum bachelor’s level)
- A treasury certification is a plus
- 1 to 3 years of experience in corporate or banking treasury (Back Office, Cash Management, In-House Bank, Treasury Accounting)
- Solid understanding of treasury functions, capital markets, and financial instruments
- Familiarity with financial control and compliance frameworks; Sarbanes-Oxley experience is appreciated
- Proficiency with treasury management systems (SAP) and electronic banking systems (SWIFT, payment practices)
- Analytical mindset, strong rigor, and attention to detail
- Ability to proactively solve complex problems and excellent communication skills with financial pedagogy
