Client Description:
Our client is a leading player in the packaging industry, specializing in the production of high-quality cardboard boxes for renowned brands in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and confectionery. They are looking for a Business Development Manager to strengthen their back-office team and ensure smooth coordination of customer orders.
 
Job Description:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in Flanders, focusing on cosmetics, consumer goods, confectionery, and beverages
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients (SMEs and multinationals)
  • Analyze market trends and translate insights into actionable strategies and contracts
  • Offer tailor-made solutions based on technical expertise and a deep understanding of client needs
  • Actively contribute to complex projects, ensuring quality, service, and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to develop innovative products and services aligned with market demands
  • Maintain a strong professional network and represent the company at industry events when needed
  • Provide regular and accurate reporting of commercial activities to the Sales Director
  • Work in a hybrid setup: from the Brussels office (Anderlecht) and/or remotely

Candidate Profile:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Sales, Business, or equivalent experience
  • 3–5 years of experience in a field sales role, focusing on new business and selling tailor-made solutions
  • Strong commercial instinct and technical insight to thrive in a high-end industrial B2B environment
  • Based in a region with easy access to Flanders
  • Fluent in Dutch (written and spoken), with good operational knowledge of French and English
