Our client specializes in Indian flavors with a modern twist, offering heartwarming signature curries, typical street snacks, and vibrant tandoor-inspired BBQ dishes. We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on Shift leader to join their team in Antwerp for events, catering, and festivals.
Job Description:
As an all-around team leader, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site operations, ensuring the best possible experience for our customers, and leading a young, energetic team. Your multitasking role will include:

Event Coordination:
- Arrange logistics to ensure all components (food trucks, materials, food, and team) come together smoothly for both setup and breakdown.
- Familiarize yourself with event details, including schedules, meeting points, accreditation, accommodation, and transportation.

On-Site Point of Contact:
- Anticipate and troubleshoot potential problems.
- Be available to the team at all times, even off-shift.

Team Supervision:
- Delegate tasks and ensure everyone is equipped to do their job.
- Coordinate a team of students and flexis, provide briefings, and train newcomers.
- Maintain an overview of food supplies, manage stock, and coordinate extra deliveries as needed.

Administrative Responsibilities:
- Handle daily financial reporting on-site and report back to HQ.
- Ensure compliance with FAVV & HACCP regulations.
- Ensure crew members have signed timesheets.
Candidate Profile:
- Experience in coordinating small to medium-sized teams in the workplace and at events is a plus.
- Good stamina to work long weekends away from home during festival season.
- Knowledge or experience in food handling (FAVV standards).
- Valid Driving License B.
- Based in or around Antwerp.
- Good English language skills.
