Cirque du Soleil is a world-renowned entertainment company, known for its captivating live performances, stunning visuals, and awe-inspiring acrobatics. As part of the Alegría tour, Cirque du Soleil is seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Onsite Manager to oversee operations in Belgium. The show will first take place in Knokke from July, followed by performances in Brussels starting in September.
Job Description:

Position: Onsite Manager
Show: Alegría
Location: Initially Knokke (starting July), then Brussels (starting September), Belgium
Duration: Ongoing, with the possibility of extension for future Cirque du Soleil shows
Start Date: July 2025

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all personnel involved in the production of Alegría
Serve as the bridge between Cirque du Soleil managers, supervisors, and manpower
Provide coaching and motivation to the team to ensure optimal performance
Handle administrative tasks and ensure smooth operations during the event
Maintain a hands-on approach, ensuring all processes run efficiently
Act as a trusted listener and offer support to the team whenever necessary
Demonstrate flexibility, being a ‘jack-of-all-trades’ in different operational areas
Be prepared to work hard and juggle multiple responsibilities effectively

Candidate Profile:

We are looking for an individual who:

Has excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
Demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities
Has experience managing teams in high-pressure environments
Is highly organized and detail-oriented
Has a hands-on, proactive approach to work
Is flexible, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Is comfortable working long hours and juggling multiple tasks
Previous experience in event management, theater, or entertainment industries is a plus
Own transportation is required; accommodation is not provided
