WMS System Administrator - new warehouse

For a large Scandinavian logistics company, we are looking for a WMS System Administrator (2 shifts or fixed night shift) for their new warehouse in Evergem.

As a WMS System Administrator at our client, you will be pivotal in managing and optimizing the Warehouse Management System.

You will support the team in the efficient use of the system and ensure smooth warehouse operations.

Your Responsibilities:

• System Management: Configure and maintain the WMS to meet the operational needs.
• Performance Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor system performance, identify issues, and coordinate solutions.
• Support and Training: Act as the first point of contact for WMS-related issues, providing timely support to end-users.
• Guidance: Assist teams in implementing system updates and new functionalities.
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure WMS processes comply with industry standards, company policies, and regulations. Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, changes, and troubleshooting.
• Efficiency and Downtime Reduction: Proactively work on improving efficiency and minimizing downtime in warehouse operations.

• Proven experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), preferably in the automotive sector.
• Knowledge of system configuration, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to train and guide users in system usage.
• Experience in adhering to compliance and safety standards.
• Independent worker with problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of relevant software tools and technologies is a plus.
• Solution-oriented, structured, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Willingness to work in a fixed night shift or 2-shift system.

You will join an exciting, international logistics environment with a global player in the Ghent Seaport (Evergem side).
