Together with our client, a steel processing company located near Ghent, we are looking for versatile packing operators (steel) due to company growth.
Job Description:

What will you do?

You will be responsible for the packing and handling of steel products (plates and coils) within the production environment:

• Packing steel coils and plates and preparing them for transport

• Applying metal straps (wrapping/strapping) around the steel

• Placing wooden beams for support and stability

• Wrapping products with protective paper

• Setting basic parameters on machines

• Supporting other production tasks when needed

Profile

• You are motivated and willing to work hands-on

• You can work in a noisy industrial environment

• You speak English (required), additional languages are a plus

• You are flexible regarding tasks and working hours

Working Hours

• Day shift: 08:00 – 16:30

• Or 2 shifts: 06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00
