Job Description:
As Merchandising Sales Associate, you will play an essential role in customer satisfaction. Here is an overview of your responsibilities:
- Utilize your experience to maximize sales opportunities.
- Scan items and ensure correct pricing.
- Process payments, whether in cash or by credit card.
- Redeem coupons and promote special offers.
- Cross-promote products and showcase new arrivals.
- Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information.
- Warmly greet customers as they enter or exit the merchandise area.
- Maintain clean and well-organized cashier areas.
- Pack items in bags, boxes, or gift packaging.
- Manage merchandise returns and exchanges efficiently.
- For roaming vendors: confidently and competently sell products around the entrance of the site and inside the Big Top.
Candidate Profile:
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria for the position of Merchandising Sales Associate :
- Ability to learn a point-of-sale system and retain information.
- Comfortable working in a noisy environment.
- Professional and neat appearance with good posture. Attire consists of a black shirt, pants, and shoes (without logos).
- Physical ability to stand for long hours.
- Customer service-oriented.
- Strong team spirit.
- Attentive to details.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
- Friendly and welcoming attitude.
- Willingness to seek assistance from a supervisor when needed.
- Availability for the entire duration of the event (September-November).
- Proficiency in English - Knowledge of other languages is an additional asset.
