You are in constant contact with the suppliers for the placement of orders. You are responsible for the follow up (A-Z) from order till transport and delivery.
What does this also mean?
- optimize inventory levels and avoid shortages and obsolete stock
- contact suppliers on a weekly basis to track shipments in transit, orders and critical parts
- exchange with production planners with regards to critical parts in order to minimize costs and premium freights
- send release to suppliers on a weekly basis
- ensure proper complaint management to the suppliers
- take care of integrity of material MRP/master parameters
- handle blocked invoices due tot quantity discrepancies
- several years of experience in a logistic environment (ideally automotive)
- degree in economics/logistics or comparable, or equal by experience
-business fluent in English and Dutch (verbal and written)
- knowledge of German is a plus
- strong knowledge of MS-Office tools, ERP-tools, SAP is a plus
- you have an excellent knowledge of Excel: Vlookups and Pivottables
- good IT- and analytical skills
- assertive and stress resistant
- self confident manner and excellent communication skillsWhat Client Offers:
