Job Description:You are responsible for the ‘mise en place’ (prep) for the service and during the service you work with the team in a fast pace to finish all orders.
You will follow all health and hygiene regulations.
You always have an eye for quality and hygiene during the whole food preparation process!
In the open kitchen you do not stand around shouting, but you work in a very organized way.
You work in the cold and the hot kitchen.
You take the lead in the kitchen and ensure that everyone in the team contributes to a smooth shift.
You ensure that the dishes are prepared in detail before they are passed on.
You will determine the food inventory need, stocking, and ordering.
Do you stay calm when the heat is on (coup de feu)?
Do you have a neat and clean appearance?
Do you have experience in a brasserie or restaurant kitchen?
Do you have good knowledge of the HACCP rules and can you ensure that everyone in the team obeys them?
Are you a passionate foodie?
Can you communicate fluently in Dutch or English?
Can you communicate constructively with your colleagues even during busy shifts?
Do you have the heart in the right place and a burning passion for the spicy kitchen?

You will be working in a warm and loving team, where we work hard but also have a lot of fun!
You will always work in the afternoons and evenings and at weekends (no service breaks).
You work full-time with a contract of indefinite term (after a positive interim period).
Your salary is negotiable, depending on your experience and performance in the kitchen.
